Canvas
Winter Retreat
This winter, we are creating an intentional space for you to rest, learn, pray, and connect with friends. This event is part of our 2025 Mental Health Initiative, which seeks to offer an integrative approach between Christian spirituality and mental health.
Led by Holland, MI based therapist and trauma specialist Ryan Kuja, there will be guided contemplative practices, instruction and workshop related to relevant mental health themes, and space for personal reflection. There will also be shared meals, laughter, and opportunities to connect with others.
Location: The Bradley, located in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne.
Dates: (choose one) Friday, February 28th - Saturday, March 1st or Friday March, 14th - Saturday, March 15th
Times: Arrive anytime between 4-6p on Friday — Depart around 1p on Saturday
Cost: Through a grant Canvas received, the cost of this retreat is completely covered. Your stay at the Bradley and three meals have been paid for. Details related to parking options and costs will be shared via email.
Registration: To reserve your spot, simply fill out the form below. We have room for 30 people at each retreat. These spots are available first come, first served, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible.
After we have received your registration we will confirm your spot has been reserved within 24 hours by email.
If your choice between the two dates happens to reach capacity before you register, we will place you on the list for the other date and be in touch with you to confirm your availability.
Who is invited to attend? This retreat is for adult participants of Canvas Community (18 years old and up).
Having trouble finding childcare? If there’s a Canvas family your kids are close with, perhaps you could coordinate a childcare trade off with each other’s kids for the night over the two dates.
