Present Parenting
Beginning October 19th, we’re holding a 5 week group to consider together the effects of social media and technology on our children and households. Since widespread use of social media and smartphones began in 2012, rates of anxiety and depression in adolescents have hit historically unprecedented levels. As we seek to nurture our children in the way of Jesus, the growing complexity of our culture's relationship to technology must also be confronted. The aim of this group is to create a safe and empowering space to discuss these trends, learn from one another, ask good questions, and share stories of hope and solidarity. (All our welcome, even those without children.)
