Once a month we step away from our typical weekly gathering to seek a new perspective. We intentionally stand in new places, roll up our sleeves, and consider new ideas with the hope of loving and seeing ourselves, our friends, and our city more clearly. We aspire to listen, learn and serve together.
On Sunday, July 21st, we’ll focus together on Canvas Kids, our ministry to kids ranging from the care of babies in the nursery to the spiritual formation of kids through 5th grade. Together we will roll up our sleeves and make improvements to the rooms kids inhabit on Sunday’s. We will also work on creating kits that help guides tell stories full of good news and wonder.
We will have a nursery open for children in the 0-3 range. All other kids will be invited to help alongside of their parents and/or color and hang out at a table that will be provided for play.
In terms of prep for this gathering, come ready to participate in casual clothes. Additionally, for anyone who would like to donate, we are seeking to stock each of the kid’s rooms with art supplies. If you’d like to provide crayons, markers, glue, or colored pencils, etc. that would be great! Lastly, we could also use old magazines for collage work.
