Our Promise to Kids and What We Ask of You

Canvas Kids is all about helping everyone feel loved and accepted by God.

• Words: We use kind and gentle words, tell stories and pray together.

• Works: We listen and do good things together, inviting your ideas.

• Way: We stay with you, not above you. We welcome and love you just as you are. We are Jesus-focused.

What we will do:

• Set positive expectations

• Play a lot and be active

• Ask everyone how they want to be involved

What we won't do:

• Use shame or put kids down

• Play dangerous or exclusive games

• Treating any kid like they’re less important than anyone else

Staying Safe Together

We care about keeping everyone safe. Please follow these guidelines:

• Stay where an adult can see you.

• Use the buddy system of 3 — don't be alone with only 1 person.

• Ask an adult before leaving the room (e.g. to use the bathroom).

• Be gentle and kind — no rough play, hitting or pushing.

• If something or someone makes you uncomfortable, tell an adult right away.

• If you get hurt or sick, find an adult right away.

• Learn our check-in/out routine so we always know who's here.
